You've landed a Work-Study job – congratulations! Here's a quick guide to the essential paperwork you'll finalize with your supervisor before you begin.
Authorization Form/Confidentiality Agreement
This form requires both your and your supervisor's signatures and dates. It's important to understand that certain Work-Study roles may involve access to sensitive information. We expect all Work-Study employees to exercise diligence in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of such data.
For payroll purposes, you'll complete various documents. Please be prepared to show two forms of government-issued ID (such as your driver's license and Social Security card; a passport, birth certificate, or voter's registration card are also acceptable). You'll also need either a voided check or a bank letter for direct deposit setup.
We want you to be ready for your payroll setup! Please take a moment to review these documents so you're familiar with them.
Please note: Garrett College is not permitted to give tax advice.
