Tutor Training: Virtual Orientation

This page includes materials that constitute your VIRTUAL ORIENTATION. All tutors are required to complete all steps of the virtual orientation.

1. Watch the pre-recorded orientation video to the right (top). This brief video provides a welcome to the tutoring program and an introduction to the orientation materials.
2. Review the orientation PowerPoint to the right (bottom). You may watch the revolving slides or open the attachment below the slides. The PowerPoint provides in-depth details concerning the flexible tutoring structure, roles and responsibilities, resources, and logistic details such as getting paid.

Tutors will be paid for their time (one hour) to complete the virtual orientation on their first time sheet. 

New tutors are also required to meet, in-person, with the director prior to beginning work. This may take place either before or after completing the virtual orientation.

After completing the virtual orientation, proceed to the next tab to complete the QUIZ. Once you have completed the quiz, email Ashley to inform her that you have finished the Tutor Training.
