Understanding and Interpreting Confidence Levels

This section discusses how confident you can be that your estimate represents the population.

Vocabulary

Margin of Error - shows how accurate the sample statistic is as a point estimate.

Confidence Interval - an estimate of the amount of uncertainty associated with a sample, computed from the statistics of the observed data. 

Confidence Level - the success rate of the confidence interval.
